Benefits verification, Authorizations & Single Case Agreements:

Most ASCs today have evolved from either a standalone group or a single doctor facility.  When doctor is practicing in an office based suite and an ASC; it becomes essential to determine the correct place of service as per the patient benefits - whether the patient has to be seen in an office facility or in an ASC. Similarly, the knowledge of authorizations, the procedures and the insurances that require authorizations is also of utmost importance.

Single Case Agreements are negotiated on a case by case basis, in which the provider gets paid even if the patient doesn’t have the benefits which will be covered under his policy. If these points have not been looked after very well, then the provider is actually loosing out on all the money which he should have technically collected.

NextServices recognizes these processes and executes them with the co-ordination of administrators and ASC Staff.  NextServices notifies the ASC 48 hours prior to the procedure on the Authorization Status.
