Enki EHR Features

Access control can be administered tightly: Each and every module can be access controlled; thereby sensitive patient information can be hidden from users who do not need access to it e.g. system administrators

ICD-9-CM code generation: Analytics engine works in the background and when invoked generates ICD-9-CM (ICD-10 when available) codes on the fly based on the medical notes captured by the physician(s) and medical staff.

Rules engine – at the Point Of Care: A powerful rules engine runs in the background and prompts the users if the CPT, ICD-9-CM, and Modifier codes are not in compliance with state, insurance, LCD, and clinical standards and guidelines, thus reducing erroneous billing and consequently reducing denials.

Connect to labs and radiology centers through HL7 messaging standards: Enki works with leading medical software vendors of the industry to get connected with any lab or radiology center that can provide an HL7 interface.

Easily adopt ICD-10: Enki is designed in such a way that it can effortlessly incorporate the upcoming ICD-10 coding standards

Enables sharing Medical Charts with Referring Physician(s) and also with patient's- securely: Patient’s medical charts can be shared securely with Referring Physician(s) and patient through encrypted email or through fax(coming soon).

Patients can partake in the care delivery: Patients can make use of the secure patient portal(coming soon) and access their medical information, educational resources, lab results, and request for future appointments.

Accessible from a variety of platforms and devices: Enki can be accessed from Windows, Linux, Macintosh, etc. It can even be accessed on an iPad through a dedicated app. Android support will be provided soon. Future versions of Enki will also be available on mobile phones.

Tight integration with AdvancedMD through HL7 standards: Integration with ADP AdvancedMD, one of the leading web-based PM systems ensure availability of patient demographic, insurance, and appointment (schedule) information without having to re-enter data again in the EMR modules.

Security: Enki implements industry standard 256-bit encryption standards to safeguard patient information. The Enki portal is verified and certified by the one most relied upon by website security experts – VeriSignTM.

Highly customizable User Interface: Enki’s User Interface is so highly customizable that no formal training is required to use it. All the modules or steps in medical chart making are created in the form of widgets which can be added or deleted as per user preferences.

Integration with medical devices: Enki will integrate with medical devices like endoscope machines and upload images and videos to the server which automatically get associated with the respective patient’s charts which can be later reviewed.

Clinical knowledge: Enki has a wealth of clinical content like Note Templates, patient material, drug databases, ICD-9-CM and CPT codes database which can be used straight out of the box.

Super-bill generation and dispatching in real time: All the bills created are stored in one place which can be reviewed and emailed securely to the concerned parties – billing offices, practice administrators, CBOs, etc. The ability to fax is another feature that is in the works to be available shortly.

No more rigid charting: Since Enki is designed with each step of the chart making process as a widget, a medical professional need not follow a rigid chart making pattern, but can document charts the way it appeals to them. Charts can be left open for completion later and can be reviewed and completed or signed later.

Access anytime, anywhere: Enki is entirely web-based. All that is required is a live internet connection and a web browser to access patient data safely and securely. Enki never leaves any trails of patient data or information.
