Physician groups often start out as solo physician practices. As practices scale and consolidate patient volume in a geography, the scale of complexity often increases. Medical practice directors need to make a variety of decisions - from ensuring productivity and compliance as a group to buying appropriate technology infrastructure.

Often times, these decisions are required to be made with minimal information. Focus of medical directors tends to shuttle between patient care and administration. For ambulatory surgical centers, there is also a distinct need to manage capacity (e.g. bed occupancy) and meet financial obligations with banks that might have funded the center. There are needs to manage workflow, ensure clinical hygeine, functioning equipment, and staff productivity. The needs are many and borders between clinical and administrative work. As a medical director gets more and more involved in these aspects of work, there is less time for patient care.

NextServices can be imagined as a large multispecialty physician group. The challenges that groups face in ensuring appropriate reimbursements from insurance companies, managing productivity, organizing workflow are our own needs of management as well. When we work with a physician group, we synthesize our experience of managing several groups to that one group. Every physician group that has worked with NextServices has increased its reimbursements amounting to more than how much they've paid us in fees - usually within 10 months or so.
